Emperor

Descripción

World Heritage Listed Lord Howe Island is one of the most undiscovered places yet most iconic places in Australia. A snorkel down at Ned’s beach means a welcoming party of Silver Drummer fish, Rainbow wrasse, Mullet and the occasional Galapagos shark. An Emperor fish tussles for position among a school of silver drummer fish in the shallows at Lord Howe Island, Australia competing for prime position to devour any scraps left by tourists. The Emperor fish spurts a stream of water out of its mouth to distract the other fish from a potential free meal. All the elements aligned; the morning sun, dramatic cliffs, sandy beach and a single emperor fish displaying this behaviour.
